Neighborhood Crime Watch

The East High Acres Community Association is a participant in the National Neighborhood Watch Program.  This program is based on the fact that citizens and law enforcement professionals are more effective in reducing crime when they work together.  Nationwide statistics prove that it works.  At each entrance to our neighborhood, you will see signs indicating our participation in this program.   However it is up to each member of the community to make the program effective.

The Neighborhood Watch Program is based entirely on the cooperation and participation of our community.  Neighbors can ask each other to watch for suspicious activity when they are gone for the weekend or on vacation, let law enforcement know when they see suspicious people or activities, and volunteer to participate in our Neighborhood Watch Patrol.

The Neighborhood Watch Patrol is a very important part of the overall program.  The purpose of the patrol is to deter crime by observing, being conspicuous, and immediately reporting crime to law enforcement.  Many of your neighbors have already volunteered, but we need your help.  Please help protect your neighborhood by contacting the EHACAI Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, and volunteering to patrol.

Crime and requests for assistance should be immediately reported to 911.  The Pennsylvania State Police can be reached directly at 724-832-3288.
