What Others Are Saying About Latrobe Schools…..
|
| |
|
I moved six times
around the country throughout my Elementary and Secondary educational
years, and can without hesitation say that Latrobe was by far
the best school I attended. Teachers were dependable and knowledgeable
in their fields, while being extremely supportive of their students.
While diversity in terms of the students ethnicity/social-economic
status is not present, diversity in the curriculum in terms
of the types and levels of each subject (science, English, math,
the arts) is prevalent. As a sophomore at Penn State, I feel
confident in saying that Latrobe more than prepared me for College,
and would be proud to send my children to such a fine institution.

I attended Greater
Latrobe School District all of my life. I feel that my education
there more than prepared me for college. I am now entering my
senior year of college and I often think back to how fortunate
I was to attended Latrobe. I was well ahead of other student
in my math, English and science classes. I think the guidance
counselors (especially Mrs. Casteel) helped me pick the right
University and I am hoping to eventually return to Latrobe so
my children can attend. Compared to the other students in my
classes, I can not believe how much more I learned and experienced
in my years at Latrobe. Submitted by
